You can keep the walking fairly short or explore further depending on weather, footwear, mobility and energy. You do not need to cover the whole site to understand why it is memorable.

Why not include Hawes, Aysgarth Falls and Malham too?

Because Yorkshire is bigger than it looks on a screen. Hawes, Aysgarth, Malham and the western Dales are all excellent, but adding them to this southern route would create a very different and much longer day.

Is this a hiking tour?
